The Dormy Inn chain of upscale business hotels offer reliably good service across Japan, and Dormy Inn Kanazawa is no exception to this rule. Guest rooms are reasonably priced, facilities are excellent, the staff are impeccably polite and professional, and as an added bonus the hotel has a natural hot spring spa.
Dormy Inn Kanazawa is conveniently located close to Kanazawa Station and also to the main bus terminal. From there you can hop on a sightseeing bus and be at any of Kanazawa’s major tourist locations in just 20 minutes. The area around the hotel is also very convenient for shopping and dining.

Spa & Sauna
The big advantage of staying at the Dormy Inn is it has a natural hot spring spa. This rooftop spa has both indoor and outdoor pools separated by gender. The best way to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring Kanazawa’s many tourist sites is in a large bath full of natural mineral waters. The water is pumped from a source deep underground and is said to be good for easing aches and pains in your joints and muscles. If you wish, you can also bathe outdoors in the rotemburo style rooftop baths which offer great views over the city. Inside there is also a sauna with a TV, so you have something to watch while you sweat away tensions, and toxins and let yourself unwind.
The spa and sauna are completely free to use for hotel guests and can be found on the 14th floor. The spa is open from 15:00 pm till 10:00 am the following day. The sauna is closed between 1:00 am and 5:00 am. There is also a massage room on the same floor which is open from 17:00 – 25:00 (last entry at 24.30). A 30 minute full body massage costs 3,000 yen and a 20 minute foot massage costs 2,000 yen.
Other Services & Facilities
You can find a laundry corner on the 14th floor with free automatic washing machines and coin operated dryers. The dryers cost 100 yen for 20 minutes use.
