Good Neighbors Hostel is a friendly backpackers’ hostel located just 4 minutes from Kanazawa Station. The hostel is housed in a converted 40 year old building with simple, clean interiors. It is a good base for your exploration of the city and also a good spot to meet and mingle with other travelers. This is a completely non-smoking hostel.

Guest Rooms
Good Neighbors Hostel has one mixed dormitory, one female dormitory, and three private rooms. All rooms have air conditioning. The mixed dormitory has eight wooden bunk beds and the female dormitory has six bunk beds. Dormitory guests can use a locker and have their own reading light and electric socket. In the female dormitory beds are also supplied with individual mirrors.
Dormitory room
The private rooms consist of a Japanese room, a family room and a loft room. The Japanese room has space for two people who can sleep in futons on the tatami mat floor. The family room has a double bed and single sofa bed, but an extra futon can be added if there are four guests. The loft room has a lower double bed and an upper bunk single bed. This room opens onto the rooftop terrace.

Bathing Facilities
Showers and toilets are all shared. Showers are stocked with two-in-one shampoo, body soap and hair dryers. Towels can be rented for 100 yen, and a tooth brush can be bought for 50 yen.
Other Facilities and Services
The hostel staff are very friendly and speak fluent English, so they can offer you advice about local bars, and restaurants as well as sightseeing and transportation tips. Luggage storage is available at reception between 8.00 and 9.00. This hostel also has free Wi-Fi internet access.
Bicycles can be rented from the hostel for 500 yen a day
There is a common room area stocked with board games, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave oven, and cooking utensils on the 1st floor. This hostel does not serve breakfast but staff can advise you on local dining facilities. There is free tea and coffee in the common area, and other drinks are available at very cheap prices. This hostel also has an iron, an ironing board and a coin operated washing machine which costs 100 yen per wash.
