Guesthouse Namaste provides cheap but clean and comfortable hostel accommodation at a convenient location just a short walk from Kanazawa Station. The owner is keen traveler himself and offers a friendly welcome to all his guests. He also speaks English, and can offer advice about what to do or see in the neighborhood.

Guestrooms
Guesthouse Namaste offers simple private-style rooms including a Washitsu Twin room, EcoTwin room, Twin room, and a two-room Family room for families or groups. The Washitsu Twin room has futon bedding on tatami mat floors, the Twin room has two Western-style beds, and the Family room has two Western-style beds plus futon space for a larger family or group. All rooms have air conditioning and heating.
Washing facilities
There are two shared toilets and one shower room which is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Hair dryers are also supplied and can be used until 23.00. If you want to take a bath, there are public baths in the neighborhood.
Dining
This guesthouse does not offer breakfast or other meals, but self-catering is possible in the shared kitchen and there are many great dining facilities in the surrounding area.
Facilities
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the building.
This guesthouse has a common use kitchen with a microwave oven, oven toaster, and shared refrigerator. There is also a communal living room, and the laundry facility has a washing machine only. The kitchen and living room should be used only until 23.00.
Limited paid parking is available by advance request when booking. Parking costs 500 yen per day per car and can be used from check-in at 15.00 until check-out at 10.00.
Guests can use lockers during their stay. Guests who want to leave luggage before check-in should contact the guesthouse in advance and come to reception between 8.30 and 11.30.
The reception desk is open from 8.00 to 11.30 and 15.00 to 20.00. Between 11.30 and 14.30 the guesthouse is closed while the owner has his lunch break. Indoor smoking is not allowed, and guests are asked to keep quiet from 22.00 to 8.00.
