Atrio is a shopping complex in central Kanazawa with fashion, lifestyle, and service shops arranged around a large central atrium. The building has 4 floors, with luxury brands and select shops on each level. These include Gucci and Coach on the 1st floor; Furla, Michael Kors, Tomorrowland, and Sov. Double Standard Clothing+_ on the 2nd floor; Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label and agnes b. on the 3rd floor; and Regal Shoes, Order Suit Sada, Foxfire, Lacoste, Raffine, and other services on the 4th floor.

There is also a basement level with cafes, confectionery and food shops, a drugstore, and services. Basement tenants include Kanazawa Chitose Coffee, HUM&Go Coffee and Stock, Maple House, Gelato Pique Cafe, Yifang Fruit Tea, Shijimaya Honpo, Hanabusa Pharmacy and Photo Land, and other shops.

Atrio is directly connected to the Daiwa department store, so you can walk between the two buildings without stepping outside. The basement level of Atrio also leads directly into the Daiwa food hall. Here are some highlights of Atrio’s specialist shops:

Many of the stores in Atrio have a tax free policy for overseas visitors. These stores will display a “tax free” sign. Some stores handle the exemption at the time of purchase, while others refund the tax at the 1st floor information counter in Daiwa Department Store. Eligible stores and procedures vary, so ask a salesperson before paying. Many stores around Kanazawa operate a tax refund policy for overseas customers so it is a good idea to carry your passport with you whenever you go shopping.
Access
Atrio is located in the Korinbo commercial district of Kanazawa. To get there from Kanazawa Station’s east exit / Kenrokuen Gate bus terminal take the Kanazawa Loop Bus from bus stop #7 and get off at Korinbo (Atrio-mae). The Left Loop reaches this stop in about 10 minutes. The Loop Bus fare is 220 yen for adults and 110 yen for children. On Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, the year-end/New Year period, and the Obon holiday period, the Kanazawa Shopping Bus also runs from bus stop #7 to Korinbo (Atrio-mae), with the same 220 yen adult and 110 yen child fare. From the bus stop it is a short walk to Atrio.
